Position Summary
Recommends the implementation of new initiatives and business opportunities for the Company under the direction of senior business development leader, or site leader
Primary and Essential Accountabilities
- Recommends the implementation of new initiatives and business opportunities for the Company under the direction of senior business development leader, or site leader
- Provides tactical input into the business development function by evaluating new initiatives and business opportunities
- May provides strategic input into the business development function by evaluating new initiatives and business opportunities
- Conducts market analysis, and competitive activity
- Identifies and explores customer needs
- Provide assistance in the planning, designing and implementing of business plans
- Assists with the follow through and deployment of the Company's vision, strategies, and tactics
- Coordinate and facilitate activities and commitments with other departments and/or functions
- Develop and track project schedules
- Participate/coordinate in strategic alliances and other external business relationships
- May manage Business Development staff
- Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
Secondary Accountabilities
- Make presentations on Company portfolio of products and services
- Attend business meetings as requested
- Attend trade shows
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or engineering or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Master’s degree preferred
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation communication skills
- Planning and organization, project management, and time management skills
- Ability to work on complex problems
- Knowledge of Company products, markets and technology
- Strong analytical and financial skills
Physical Requirements
- Lifting (up to 10 lbs.): up to 10% of time
- Walking: up to 50% of time
- Climbing, Bending, Stooping: up to 10% of time
- Standing: up to 25% of time
- Sitting: up to 50% of time
- Travel: up to 10% of time
AAC works on a 9/80 compressed work schedule whereby employees work 80 hours in 2 weeks with every other Friday off.
