Job Summary

Every system Leonardo DRS builds, from force protection to naval propulsion, depends on the right part arriving in the right place, on time. That reliability starts in Supply Chain, and it starts with good analysis. As data and AI tools take on a bigger role across the business, we need an Analyst II who can lead both: the analytics and the adoption of new digital tools that make our Supply Chain organization faster and more predictive. In this role, you'll own material planning and demand forecasting, track supplier performance and order execution, and help the team get ahead of risk and compliance issues before they affect a program.

You'll work closely with Program Management, Engineering, and Procurement, and your analysis will feed directly into program reviews and customer discussions - real visibility, not busy work. This is a strong fit for someone who wants to build modern analytics capability inside a mission-driven supply chain organization.

Essential Functions

  • Lead material planning and demand analysis across commodities, purchasing, and proposal costing and evaluating forecasts to get ahead of vulnerabilities before they hit the program.
  • Drive supplier performance and order execution: run procurement kick-off meetings, track open requisitions against need dates, and expedite critical components to protect schedule.
  • Own risk and compliance visibility, monitor program health weekly, flag early warning signs, and ensure contract flow-downs are captured and passed to Purchasing correctly.
  • Represent Supply Chain in customer negotiations and program reviews, building the data and charts that back up every position at the table.
  • Bridge communication between buyers, suppliers, and Program teams to keep orders moving and issues resolved fast.
  • Champion smarter ways of working , bringing AI and digital tools into everyday supply chain decisions, not just theory.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in high-tech, aerospace, or defense supply chain (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Working knowledge of supply chain planning, procurement processes, and contract flow-down requirements.
  • Comfort working in Power Pivot, Power Query, and Power BI to analyze and present data.
  • Familiarity with earned value management, program cost metrics, and variance analysis.
  • Working knowledge of ITAR, EAR, FAR, and DFAR compliance requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to communicate findings clearly under pressure.
  • Ability to define, document, and govern KPIs across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Experience translating business requirements into scalable reporting or automation solutions.
  • Experience facilitating user adoption, training, and change management for analytics tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools or digital transformation initiatives applied to supply chain or operations.
  • Strong business communication skills and able to translate complex data into a clear story for leadership.
  • Demonstrated risk-based decision-making in a fast-paced program environment.

Only candidates that meet the qualifications set forth above are eligible to be contacted for further information. We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas.
