Job Summary

Production only moves as fast as the plan behind it. As a Planner II within Land Electronics, you'll take ownership of a critical slice of that plan, standing up the manufacturing orders (MOs) that follow, and staying in daily contact with the shop floor to keep MO aging under control so every order lands on time. Beyond that day-to-day rhythm, you'll sequence jobs against the Master Production Schedule, align resources across a shifting workload, and give planning, manufacturing, and program leadership real visibility into what's on track and what's at risk. It's a role built for someone who wants to drive outcomes, not just track them - someone comfortable owning a process end-to-end and communicating its status with confidence across manufacturing, contracts, and project management.

Essential Functions

  • Drive daily communication with manufacturing to monitor and manage MO aging, keeping every order on track for on-time completion.
  • Maintain manufacturing build plans, run and set-up times, and expected completion dates for every scheduled job.
  • Perform cycle counts as needed and maintain accurate inventory and material transaction records.
  • Review the schedule to ensure raw materials are available when needed and build forward-looking MO release plan to maintain build schedule.
  • Highlight critical parts and issues that could keep operations from meeting the MPS.
  • Champion the mission, values, and culture of the team in every interaction across manufacturing and planning.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in production planning.
  • Working knowledge of MRP and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems.
  • Hands-on experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Solid understanding of business processes and functional inter-relationships.
  • Exceptional communication and cross-functional management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, along with PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.

Only candidates that meet the qualifications set forth above are eligible to be contacted for further information. We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas.
