Job Summary

Leonardo DRS Land Electronics is seeking a Marketing Operations & Logistics Coordinator to support our Marketing team in Melbourne, FL. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle management of CAPEX equipment, logistics coordination for tradeshows and demonstrations, and tracking of customer bailments.

Essential Functions

  • CAPEX Inventory Management: Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all CAPEX equipment, including check-in/check-out tracking, physical location, and condition. Conduct routine physical audits to reconcile records and identify discrepancies.
  • Tradeshow & Demo Logistics: Manage end-to-end equipment logistics for tradeshows and demonstrations, including testing, packing, shipping, receiving, and unpacking upon return. Prepare domestic and international shipping documentation, verify shipments against required paperwork, and coordinate with internal trade compliance teams on all shipping requirements.
  • Bailment Tracking: Maintain the bailment tracking system, including contacts, loan terms, equipment condition, and return dates. Coordinate testing, repackaging, and return shipment of bailed equipment upon agreement expiration or recall.
  • Procurement & Budget Support: Source and process CAPEX procurement requests in support of Marketing needs. Track expenditures against approved budgets and report variances to the Director of Marketing & Communications.
  • Vendor Coordination: Work with vendors and suppliers to request quotes, compare pricing, and coordinate delivery of CAPEX equipment.
  • Tradeshow Support: Assist with exhibitor and personnel registrations and booth coordination. When required, travel to support tradeshow events by setting up equipment displays, operating booth technology, and assisting the Marketing team on-site.
  • Additional Duties: Support the Marketing team with administrative and operational tasks as assigned, including light graphic or content support where applicable.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in shipping/receiving, material handling, purchasing, or a related logistics and supply chain support role
  • Demonstrated experience tracking, verifying, and maintaining accurate records of inventory, equipment, or assets across one or more professional roles
  • Experience working with vendors and suppliers, including requesting quotes and coordinating deliveries
  • Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
  • Excellent PC-based computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration preferred
  • Experience preparing domestic and international shipping documentation and coordinating with freight carriers and internal trade compliance teams strongly preferred
  • Forklift/pallet jack certification a plus
  • Experience supporting tradeshows, defense exhibitions, or large-scale corporate events a plus
  • Familiarity with bailment agreements or government property management a plus
  • Experience with digital inventory, asset management, or ERP platform (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) a plus
  • Basic graphic design or marketing support experience (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) a plus
