Data Analyst (Operations Support)

The Leonardo DRS Land Electronics business provides C4I Network computing and integrated situational awareness, as well as state-of-the-art embedded diagnostics, vehicle power management and combat vehicle integration products and services.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and perform specific analyses for the operations team
  • Support Smart Factory initiatives
  • Look for creative ways to improve manufacturing operations' contributions to business goals
  • Generate metrics and project status reports for management and teams
  • Review and monitor the progress of projects to ensure accuracy and timeliness, provide periodic project reports to management
  • Coordinate with end users and technical staff to implement reporting tools supporting business goals
  • Support, communicate and defend the mission, values and culture of the company
  • Utilize Power Pivot, Power Query and Power BI to transform DataMart raw data into manageable information
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Data Management or related
  • A minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in high technology, aerospace or defense or equivalent experience
  • Data integrity verification experience
  • Understanding of relational databases
  • Ability to perform complex work with strict deadlines
  • Eagerness to learn new technology and advance internal capabilities
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with MS SQL Management Studio, MS Excel scripting (desired)
  • Knowledge of Visual Basic, C++, LabView programming (desired)
  • Deltek SQL Database experience (desired)
