Title: Human Resources Coordinator
 

Job Location: Lemont Furnace, PA (Uniontown Area)

 

Position Summary: AAC is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support our team in Lemont Furnace, PA. This position will perform administrative activities in support of the Human Resources organization. May take on assignments from various areas of Human Resources, such as recruiting, compensation, benefits, employee relations, training, etc.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform administrative activities in support of the Human Resources organization. May take on assignments from various areas of Human Resources, such as recruiting, compensation, benefits, employee relations, training, etc. Perform administrative or support tasks in functional area. May research and resolve employee problems and questions. May update and maintain the HRIS systems. May respond to outside queries from vendors, and companies verifying employment under the direction of HR management. May provide support to employee activities and programs.
  • Perform a variety of routine activities in support of functional areas such as production operations, engineering, or human resources for a specific project, business or a technical unit
  • Gather, collect, record, track and verify data and information from multiple sources
  • Compile, review and analyze data
  • Use software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations
  • May design processes to enhance work flow
  • Provide data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures
  • This position typically spends 70% of their time supporting the function
  • Moderate understanding of general job aspects and good understanding of the detailed aspects of the job
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
     
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experieince in a similar role
  • Prior recruiting experience highly preferred
  • Must be flexible and willing to move between projects and tasks quickly and as needed
  • The ability to listen to others and to work well as part of a team
  • Knowledge of office procedures and good writing and verbal skills
     

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting up to 10 lbs. up to 10% of the time
  • Sitting: Up to 75% of the time
  • Walking, Standing: up to 25% of the time
  • Bending, Stooping: up to 10% of the time

 

AAC works on a 9/80 compressed work schedule, where employees work 80 hours in 2 weeks, and off every other Friday.
