Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced IT System Trainer for a mission critical information technology system used by a military organization with proven training delivery capabilities combined with solid information technical skills. This role is responsible for delivering comprehensive training to end users on the operational and technical aspects of the system. The Trainer will act as a bridge between customer’s personnel and the technical teams, ensuring that users fully understand how to operate, manage, and maintain system components in accordance with military procedures and mission requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in training in military or government operations, an understanding of operational workflows, and the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, practical training sessions tailored for customer’s users. This position may require occasional travel to remote sites within UAE.

Job Responsibilities

•    Deliver practical training to customer’s personnel on system operation, basic administration, routine maintenance tasks, system startup/shutdown, hardware replacement, and configuration procedures.
•    Develop and maintain training materials such as user guides, SOPs, presentations, and step-by-step instructions based on operational requirements and system updates.
•    Provide scenario-based training that reflects real operational workflows and procedures.
•    Assess trainee performance, identify skill gaps, and provide additional guidance or refresher sessions as needed.
•    Act as a liaison between customer operational personnel and IT engineering teams to ensure training content reflects actual system behavior, operational needs, and recent changes.
•    Gather feedback from users to enhance training effectiveness and incorporate lessons learned into updated training content.
•    Support users post-training when new features, updates, or operational changes require additional instruction.
•    Ensure all training is aligned with customer’s standards, operational protocols, and system security practices.

Technical Skills Required

•    Ability to translate operational requirements and operational procedures into clear, practical system training for users.
•    Solid understanding of IT fundamentals including server hardware, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting.
•    Working knowledge of networking basics (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing/switching) as applied to system nodes.
•    Familiarity with Windows and Linux systems, virtualization concepts, and basic administration (VMware experience preferred).
•    Ability to explain technical and operational concepts to personnel of different ranks and technical backgrounds.
•    Strong documentation skills with experience creating SOPs, step-by-step guides, and training materials tailored for customer operations.
•    Comfortable delivering training in classroom settings, or at remote operational sites.
•    Strong interpersonal skills, disciplined work approach, and comfortable with customer interaction.
•    Military or government operations experience with understanding operational workflows is desirable.
•    Familiarity with systems such as AIS, GPS, Radars, Radio communications, and cartography and navigation systems is desirable.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
•    Proven experience in technical training, or instructional roles, better if within military or government settings.
•    Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, native Arabic speakers are desirable to engage effectively with the customer’s personnel at all levels.
•    Military background or experience in military operations is desirable.
