Job Summary

As an RF Systems Engineer II, you will play a key role in the design, analysis, integration, and validation of cutting-edge RF systems. You will collaborate with senior engineers and architects to ensure high-performance, scalable, and mission-tailored solutions.

 

Job Responsibilities

Involved with the analysis, design, development and implementation of new and/or existing systems/sub-systems. May include Architectural Design, Requirements Engineering, or others. Determine system specifications. Support acquisition of hardware and software (or subcontractor services as needed)Responsible for technical activity and completion of assigned task on time and budget

 

Design, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems or subsystems

May use computer-aided engineering or other design/analysis software in the performance of assignments.

Report of progress and status regularly

Review customer specifications and requirements, and under direction, develop designs to best support them, including cost as a key design variable

Provide budget, cost and schedule input for design assignments

Specify and evaluate supplier components, subsystems and services

Support the program design to cost and design for manufacture requirements

Develop prototypes to retire key development risks

Communicate clearly (written and oral) with other company personnel and the customer as required

Participates in preparation of less-complex proposals

May provide technical knowledge and assistance to other engineers and support personnel

Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization

Attend appropriate engineering, customer or business meetings

 

Job Responsibilities Part II

Contribute to the architecture, design, and performance analysis of RF and SIGINT systems.

Perform system modeling, RF performance simulations, and trade studies to guide design decisions.

Conduct design analyses and calculations, evaluating parameters such as dynamic range, signal integrity, and noise performance.

Develop and execute test plans, perform system integration activities, and analyze test data to verify compliance with system requirements.

Support the development of modular and open-standard architectures for scalable mission applications.

Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, software, and test teams to ensure successful system integration.

Prepare technical documentation, presentations, and reports to communicate findings and recommendations.

Contribute to ongoing research and innovation efforts in RF technology, supporting the organization’s leadership in SIGINT systems

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of experience in RF systems engineering, communications systems, or signal processing.(Electrical, Physics, Mathematics, engineering or related technical field preferred)

Strong understanding of RF systems, signal processing, and/or electromagnetics.Competent technical expertise and application domain knowledge

Experience with modeling, simulation, and analysis tools such as Ansys, MATLAB, SPICE, Python, or similar

Working knowledge of linear algebra, probability & statistics, differential equations, and Fourier analysis in the context of RF system design

Hands-on experience with system integration, testing, and troubleshooting in lab environments

Familiarity with open-standard architectures and modular design principles

Ability to work independently

: U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
