Job Summary

Our Test Technicians test and troubleshoot electromechanical assemblies and other products.

Our 2nd shift work hours are Monday - Thursday 3:00pm - 12:30am and every other Friday 2:00pm - 10:30pm.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to engineers on moderately complex components, devices, material, products, processes and/or equipment
  • Responsible for testing, modifying, reworking, and repairing electronic, optical and mechanical assemblies
  • Work from moderately complex wiring and assembly drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications and sketches
  • Ability to coordinate several activities at the same time, and to reprioritize in response to changing operational conditions
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements applicable to the company in accordance with State and Federal regulations
  • Perform Key Performance Indicators:
    • Meet production deadlines
    • Quality of finished product (Pass/fail rates)
    • Raw material stock levels
    • Compliance outcomes
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization

Qualifications

  • Requires an associate’s degree and 2+ years of experience in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in the field or in a related area
  • Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and wire lists
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
  • Must have good mechanical skills
  • Soldering and wire bonding experience, preferred
  • Must have knowledge of various test equipment
  •  Must pay close attention to details
  • Must be able to comply with all safety and procedural rules
  • Must have a basic knowledge of and ability to use computers, programs, and business tools
  • Experience utilizing computer applications, including Access, Excel, and Labview, preferred
  • MRP experience, preferred
  • Candidates must be a US citizen and meet DRS security standards as imposed by DoD, including the issuance of any necessary security clearance by the US government within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.

U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
