Job Summary
Our Test Technicians must be willing to learn, ask questions, and adapt to completing different tasks depending on available work. We are looking for individuals that will test and troubleshoot electromechanical assemblies and other products. We require the ability to read and follow test procedures and other engineering documents. We require knowledge of test equipment and the ability to troubleshoot failures in test equipment and products. We require good mechanical skills and confidence handling different tools.
Shift Schedules
2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday 3:00 PM - 12:30 AM and Friday 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Job Responsibilities
- Read and follow test procedures for a variety of products with various tools and accurately record results.
- Troubleshoot failed processes, product, and/or test equipment.
- Communicate issues with test procedures, drawings, tools, or materials with appropriate team members.
- Comply with all safety and regulatory requirements applicable to the company in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
- Coordinate several activities at the same time and reprioritize in response to changing operational conditions.
- Support, reinforce, and defend the production of high-quality work
Qualifications
- Must have an associate’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
- Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and wire lists
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
- Must have good mechanical skills
- Must have knowledge of various test equipment
- Must have strong critical thinking skills
- Must pay close attention to details
- Must be able to comply with all safety and procedural rules
- Must have a basic knowledge of and ability to use computers, programs, and business tools
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and retain a security clearance within a time period to be established by the Company
