Job Summary
Leonardo DRS Land Systems is seeking a full time Senior Financial Reporting Analyst - Cash Forecasting for our Bridgeton, MO facility. The Analyst will be responsible for managing and consolidating the business unit's cash forecast. They will review program cash forecast inputs, track deliveries, invoices, actual receipts, and disbursements. The role will communicate with the program teams about forecast variances and current month activity changes, as well as monitoring and addressing aged accounts receivables. They will prepare and submit cash forecast summaries and templates for corporate reporting as required.
Job Responsibilities
- Review monthly program cash forecast inputs (invoicing and receipts) with program teams and consolidate into business level cash forecast
- Monitor and update current month forecast weekly as actuals are incurred (monitor/track/update file for deliveries, invoices, actual receipts, actual disbursements, etc.)
- Communicate with program teams regarding variances from prior forecast, delays/accelerations in current month activity, etc.
- Monitor and communicate with program teams and accounting on aged AR
- Develop Disbursements forecast based on business material receipt forecast, payroll, CAPEX and current A/P
- Prepare cash forecast summary write-up and file for Corporate submission (weekly/bi-weekly or as required)
- Complete business unit balance sheet forecasts based on revenue/invoicing/cash receipts/thruput forecasts
- Complete scorecard net contract assets and advanced payment worksheets
- Load balance sheet forecast into HFM/One Stream
- Complete same duties quarterly as part of maintaining the 5-year FOP
Secondary Accountabilities
- Responsible for various moderately complex financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting and analysis
- Collect and review financial data from various sources
- Create, maintain, and update financial databases and spreadsheets, and generate various financial reports as required.
- Make recommendations to management to improve the financial performance of the organization. Respond to rate and budget questions and provide explanations to ensure management understanding
- Identify and resolve moderately complex problems as well as to prevent future problems
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as DFAR, FAR, and other government regulations
- Participate in audits and interface with government auditors to ensure understanding of financial data, methodology and applicability under appropriate government regulations
- Interface with internal departments and external auditors in moderately complex auditing assignments
- Participate in team efforts to improve functioning of the department
- Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience
- A minimum of 5 years directly related experience
- Thorough knowledge of DAR/FAR and other applicable government regulations
U.S. Citizenship required.
The expected pay scale for this position is $77,818.00/year - $111,280.00/year for the state of Illinois. Should the level, location, or scope of the position change during the hiring process, the pay scale may be modified accordingly.
