Job Summary
Leonardo DRS is seeking a Principal Pricing Analyst. This position is based out of our Bridgeton, MO facility but has the option to be a hybrid schedule or a remote worker. This position will be responsible for pricing and estimating activities, executing cost price proposal development for high complexity FAR Table 15-2 compliant proposals. They will use inputs from functional organizations to develop cost models, independently prepare the cost/price volume, and support customer fact-finding, in accordance with relevant regulations and company standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for pricing and estimating activities, executing cost price proposal development for high complexity FAR Table 15-2 compliant proposals.
- Review requests for proposals to identify and assist the proposal team in developing responses
- Work with internal organizations to determine anticipated labor and overhead rates, material requirements, equipment costs, and possible bid strategies
- Analyze estimates against previous cost experience and recommend adjustments
- May participate in the negotiation of contract proposals
- Provide guidance to the team and senior management in the execution of new business cost proposals including providing counsel on RFP, FAR, CAS and disclosure compliance issues
- Establish and coordinate schedules, monitor and escalate problems, develop cost/price models.
- Assist with pricing cost narrative, price strategy, risk assessment, business case analysis, and preparation/presentation of management briefings
- Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance with 10+ years of directly related experience, preferably in a government contracting environment (or equivalent combination of education/training and experience)
- Advanced knowledge and experience working in Excel
- DoD experience preferred
- High complexity knowledge with FAR Table 15-2 compliant proposals
The expected pay scale for this position is $90,673.00/year - $140,769.00/year for the states of Illinois and Minnesota, $99,740.00/year - $154,846.00/year for the state of Washington, and $104,274.00/year - $161,884.00/year for the state of California. Should the level, location, or scope of the position change during the hiring process, the pay scale may be modified accordingly. When extending an offer of employment, Leonardo DRS considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position; any Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, the candidate’s relevant work experience, education/training, certifications, and key skills; internal equity; and market and business considerations.
