Job Summary

Leonardo DRS Land Systems is seeking a full-time Government Property Administrator I for our Bridgeton, MO facility.  This position will be responsible for managing Government/Customer furnished property in several inventory tracking systems.  This position also provides general support for production operations and field support operations as required.

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Manage and control all Government and Customer owned property
  • Perform incoming processing for U.S. Government and Customer owned property per ISO procedures
  • Ensure that all U.S. Government and Customer owned property is put into the correct tracking system and file all incoming documentation
  • Maintain control of Government and Customer property in the applicable Government and Customer systems, such as Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) and Catalog Ordering Logistics Tracking System (COLTS) for the Army
  • Ensure that all requisitioned parts are only used for the appropriate program for which they were intended. Input all transactions in the appropriate tracking system and report any anomalies
  • Responsible for the Government Stores Area, keeping it secure and keeping records of where all parts are located
  • Responsible for Inventories and Audits, including any DCMA audit or requests. Perform scheduled inventories and report results to DCMA and Customers as completed
  • Responsible for U.S. Government shippers and verify that they have the correct authority for shipment as well as confirmation from all parties involved
  • Work closely with our Contracts department in closing out any Government Contract by supplying the information needed to transfer or disposition property correctly
  • Responsible for control of all Scrap and Excess Inventory being placed into Plant Clearance System
  • Responsible for ensuring all instructions from the Plant Clearance Officer are followed for the disposition process. This will include performing the demilitarization/disassembly of parts
  • Prepare all reports upon request from Government, Customer, or DRS personnel
  • Support, communicate and defend the mission, values, and culture of the company
  • Support the Production Storeroom/Shipping/Receiving areas on an as needed basis
  • Responsible for working with the Contracts department to ensure a thorough report is provided to the Government and Customer when Loss, Theft, Damage, or Destruction occurs to property

 

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in one of the following areas: stockroom management, inventory management, Government property management, or inventory reporting
  • US Citizenship is required
  • Must be familiar with Government reporting
  • Must have strong computer skills to include Microsoft products including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail

U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.

 

The salary range for this position is $49,624.00/year- $64,511.00/year for the state of Illinois.  This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting. Several factors can influence the pay scale, including but not limited to: Federal contract labor categories and contract wage rates, collective bargaining agreements, geographic location, business considerations, scope, and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate’s qualifications such as prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for: annual performance-based bonuses, equity awards, and overtime pay (for non-exempt employees as applicable.
