Job Summary

We're looking for a Software Engineering Intern for the Spring 2022 semester!  This PAID opportunity is at our Dayton, OH office (you must be able to work onsite).  20-40 hours per week depending on student availability.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support and participate in technical activity
  • Document and support testing of products, systems or subsystems 
  • May use computer-aided engineering or other design/analysis software in the performance of assignments 
  • Ability to work independently under supervision of others
  • Regular reporting of progress and status
  • Completion of assigned task on time and meeting technical requirements
  • Specify and evaluate supplier components, subsystems and services
  • Support the program design to cost and design for manufacture requirements
  • Communicate clearly (written and oral) with other company personnel and the customer as required


  • Currently enrolled in BS program majoring in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical area with a computer science concentration with at least 1 year complete (Sophomore-Senior)
  • 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Exposure to a high level object oriented language (C, C++, Java, and/or Python experience ideal)
  • Understanding of OOA/OOD Software Solutions
  • Operating system concepts and computer architecture knowledge
  • Practical Knowledge of UML design tools
  • Familiar with Windows Visual Studio
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with multi-threaded, and IP socket programming techniques preferred
  • Understanding of LINUX and Windows Operating Systems preferred
  • Understanding of full software lifecycle preferred
  • Must be a US Citizen
